Hi Everybody

I hope that all of you are doing well. I have had a crazy busy week. The busy stuff that netted me some money is great. The side trips I found myself taking the past two days, not so much.

It all began with my search for ways to increase member sign-ups here in the forum. Of course, I am always looking for better ways to promote my writing company and other sites and blogs as well. Anyway, somehow I wandered onto the idea of creating both a traffic exchange, and a business link-exchange directory. As if, I do not have enough work to try to stay on top of everyday, Sheesh! So after many hours of scouring the internet for what I needed, I downloaded three different program scripts to hold while I goy everything else ready. This meant signing up for a free mysol account with free hosting, and then trying to upload my new script files into the mysol database. That is where the trouble and two-day trip to frustration-Ville really kicked into high gear. I spent nearly 12 hours trying to upload these files and contacting the support system for each for help, without any luck.

I have abandoned those ideas for now so that I can turn my attention back to my writing work and promoting the sites that I already have. I may revisit them again sometime in the future. This seemingly never-to-end adventure was not all in vain I must admit. I have certainly learned more about scripts and codes in the past two days than I ever saw myself doing. It is true what they say about learning never stopping and that all learning has some value in it.

I had some articles due today and a couple I need to work on to meet tomorrow’s deadline. It is supposed to be stormy in my area for the next few days, so I am going to finish them tonight in case I have to be off the internet due to the passing storms.
